    When Traveling to the Dominican republic you have many options. Because it's located on an island you can travel by plane or by cruise(boat). As of now due to COVID-19 cruise ships a limited, so the best and fastest option would be going by plane. A plane trip to the Dominican Republic will cost you around $500 in American currency. When it comes to their currency you are going to have to use the Dominican peso also called centavos. Conversions between American dollars and Dominican pesos are always fluctuating but as of now, 1 dollar is equivalent to roughly 58 pesos. Before going on a plane you will need a valid passport to travel to the Dominican Republic since it's outside the United States.

Where to Stay

    When choosing a place to travel specifically I recommend Santo Domingo, Punta Cana, or Puerta Playa. These are the most popular places to visit which contain some of the best tourist sites. After choosing the place you want to stay it all you will need is a place to stay at. This is the easiest part since many websites rent a hotel and guest houses. If you plan to stay in a hotel I recommend checking out TripAdvisor.com. If you plan to stay at a house then I recommend checking out Airbnb.com. Both websites are great options and will help you with the perfect place to stay.

Where to go and What to do

    Once you are in the Dominican republic whether you chose Santo Domingo, Punta Cana, or Puerta each has amazing things to do there. The Dominican Republic has beautiful scenery that has an endless list of things to do. Starting with the ocean you can go sailing and snorkeling. Another activity you can try is going ziplining or horseback riding. All of these activities will cost you no more than $100 each. That's the best thing about going to the Dominican Republic is that it not expensive to have fun. Moving on to more activities and places to travel. A very popular activity is going to water caves. No matter where you are in the Dominican Republic you can also visit the main city near your area and try the amazing dishes they have to offer as well as music.
